The Spice Girls prepare for the Olympic closing ceremony! Scream!
It's the reunion of the year! Yes, we're talking about the Spice Girls doing a one-off performance for the London 2012 Olympic closing ceremony. Since Friday, we've been teased with pictures of them rehearsing on top of black London cabs.
The pics also showed the girls walking down the stage with Posh in her usual skyscraper heels - which only heightened our anticipation. What would the evening be with out her in her trademark heels? We're also hoping Geri Halliwell is going to be patriotic and wear that sequined dress emblazoned with the Union Jack.
Before it all kicks off though (at 9pm UK time on BBC1), here's what the girls themselves have been saying on Twitter.

Victoria Beckham Twitter
Victoria Beckham Tweeted a picture early this morning with the message: "Good morning London! X vb". Just a few hours ago she again Tweeted saying: "Behind every success is effort, behind every effort is passion, behind every passion is someone with the courage to try x vb". Oh, we're welling up already and they aren't even on stage yet!
Mel B (aka Scary Spice), has us guessing our socks off as she posted a pic (below) showing a glimpse of two shoes, saying: "Ummmm hanging with my home girl." Who is she talking about? Geri Halliwell? Emma Bunton? Come on Mel B, we're dying over here!

Mel B Twitter
Geri Halliwell Tweeted her two cents worth saying: "Are you ready?.....#spicegirls." Yes, Geri, we are!
Now, all we're left wondering is just what they'll be singing. Until we find out though, join us as we croon: "Yo! I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want. So tell me what you want, what you really, really want...".
Feast your eyes Posh's other half, aka David Beckham taking in the Games alongside Boris Johnson.
Why dont they spoil the whole olympic feel good factor our superb atheletes have given this country, by putting the Spice hags on and fcuk the whole thing up.
They were no good in the nineties, how are they going to be any good nearly twenty years on.
If we are really lucky they will not be able to stop themselves falling out between themselves and just not show up. The same as their reunion gigs, tours and one off performances.
If they are the best the UK has to offer best we all emigrate - jeeezus - what rubbish - Victoria mimes as usual - incredible - her miming takes less time than her make-up - stupid. Perhaps they could perform with Macca ha ha ha!
Hope Kate Bush does appear and does the re-worked 'Running up that Hill' - so appropriate and no fecking miming from her...
And no-one has mentioned Phil Collins - he should be there....
bloody hell fancy having the finishing ceremony with the spice girls, my god they could of got better than them has beens.. lets just hope we get remembered for the great & fantastic show we opened with & not the 1 we close with,, should of just invited the sporty spice she was the only 1 that could sing anyway...
