BRIT awards: quotes of the night

It wouldn't be an internationally recognised event without huge star-spangled performances, recognition of the next big thing and an abundance of perfectly preened celebrities. From Rihanna making a very fashionably late entrance, to that moment Adele got cut off by time-conscious producers, the BRIT awards 2012 was a spectacular event.

Held at the o2 arena in London, cheeky chap James Corden was at the helm of the show. Talking to One Direction star Harry Styles, who recently split from girlfriend Caroline Flack, Corden asked if Styles was going out with Denise Welch after the BRITs, adding that he "loves a loose woman". Playing along with the joke, Styles said, "Yes, I can confirm it's true."
We're not sure how impressed Flack's camp are going to be! Mieow.
