Channing Tatum has been named 2012's sexiest man alive by People magazine.

It's a high honour for the actor who bared nearly all in Magic Mike - previous winners include George Clooney, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt and last year's victor, Bradley Cooper.

The showbiz glossy's bumper issue includes dozens of A-list men, who can be seen in all their glory in our photo gallery, but only one man can lay claim to being 2012's sexiest man alive. Enjoy!

You're joking, the sexiest man alive?? I doubt that very much.  How do they know he's sexy, just because he looks halfway decent does NOT mean he's sexy!  The guy with the long hair who I think was in Game of Thrones definitely looks sexy, but is he.........

 Johnny Depp and Ian Sommerhalder are v sexy but a good few of them really shouldn`t be on the list. Give me Jeremy Renner any day of the week though xx oh and Taylor Kitsch xx As for Karl Urban. . .be still my beating heart xxxxxxx

.. tattoos,beards and moustaches are just vain affectations.

.. sexy is a nicely-toned muscular manly body,which is missing totally from here.

.. a large amount of these on the gallery are generally unknown.

.. some are scruffily unshaven and showing signs of ageing.

.. some resemble mugshots or characterless posing puppets.

.. some look like jerks.

.. in fact I wouldn`t rate any of these.

.. if I were female my choice would be to give the award to some Bollywood/Indian sexy-looking guy,with a nice mature muscular body that they were proud to show off ~
