Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman are separating after 30 years of marriage. They wed back in 1982, when he was best known for the TV series Taxi and she was just getting famous as the grumpy waitress Carla in the newly-launched sitcom Cheers. He's 67, she's 64.

Together they ran a production company that produced blockbusters including Pulp Fiction and Garden State, and they have three adult children together.

What a shame, they seemed a sweet couple. I remember them in Matilda the best movie ever.

As a celebrity couple they did very well to last 30 years together.  It is a shame they felt the need to split now in their twilight years.  Let's just hope it is just a glitch in their relationship and once they a part they will realise they do still want to be together and rekindle their union. Ah!! Such a shame.
