Duke and Duchess of Cambridge waxworks revealed
Brand new waxworks of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been revealed at the most famous waxwork museum in the world, Madame Tussauds in London.
The models have been installed in the tourist hotspot to celebrate the royal couple's one-year anniversary (which is coming up on 29 April). The figures cost £150,000 to create and the artistic waxwork makers worked for four months getting the future king and queen just right.
The models have been fashioned to look like the couple's official engagement announcement from 2010. Kate's waxwork even wears a specially-made Issa dress (the label she wore on the famous day) and a replica of the engagement ring given to her by William that originally belonged to his mother.

I am sure that for every pound spent on these waxworks ten times this amount is generated through admission fees. If we did nt have places like this the World would just be a blank canvas.
I think the people who created these figures are true artists not like that idiot Hirst who put a shark in a tank or a few saucepans on the wall and got millions for them.
I hear the continual moans about the Royal Family. Why don't these people think about the income from tourism. Maybe think of living in a country that has what others want so badly - History and tradition. Our forces wear the crown other countries make up their history as they feel like it. The British are unique and so are our royals. Put your hate in to making the system better not into destroying the royals who hold this country together. Get rid of the corrupt the liars and the dictators we have and breath again
very real and very beautiful!
p.s why are people talking about the government and tax all the time in these comments??? waste of frigging time if u ask me!
I would just like to say how proud I am to be British. And to look at all the effort gone in to these great models of our future King and Queen. William and Kate.
Well done Madame Tussauds!
