From Downton to designer: TV stars turn A-list at fashion show

Downton Abbey is pretty much the biggest TV series since Friends (in our humble opinion, anyway) and it's not just big in the UK; it's a global, multi-award winning hit. So it's no surprise the stars of the period drama, who were pretty much unknown actors three years ago before it began, are really starting to enjoy the A-list lifestyle.

A few of our favourite faces from Downton Abbey were on the front row at one of London Fashion Week's hottest shows - Mulberry - along with Olympic athlete Jessica Ennis, actress Gillian Anderson and Olivia Palermo.

Joanne Froggatt and Elizabeth McGovern looked a world away from their Downton characters; Anna the housemaid and Cora Countess of Grantham, respectively.
