Gary Barlow and wife Dawn announce daughter was delivered stillborn

Gary Barlow has announced that his fourth child with wife Dawn was delivered stillborn.

Their daughter, who was named Poppy Barlow, was born on Saturday 4 August.

In an official statement, Gary has said: "Dawn and I are devastated to announce that we've lost our baby.

"Our focus now is giving her a beautiful funeral and loving our three children with all our hearts. We'd ask at this painful time that our privacy be respected."

The couple announced they were expecting their fourth child back in April.

I know that he is a celebrity with a massive financial fortune, but he would have traded everything if it would have altered the tragedy. I do hope no saddo makes  references to this during bad auditions.

My wife and I lost a little baby during the run up to Christmas 1994 - it still hurts.

I feel for them both.

Our deepest sympathy to you and your wife, we lost our son, Matthew, in 1988 and he was stillborn.  It is something that no-one should have to endure. The pain you feel today is great, but hopefully with time it will ease. You will never forget your daughter Poppy, you will always wonder what she would have been like had she lived, I know we do every day about our son.  Our heartfelt sympathy to you both from us, Viv & Jeff Hoey, Redditch.

So Sad to hear of Gary Barlow and His Wife Dawn's devastating news. I am sure that everyone will be thinking of them and their other 3 children at this sad time.

I can honestly say from painful exerience that I do know what they are going through, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family Gary.

My heart aches with you both,,i know exactly what you are going through,,i too had a stillborn daughter 5 yeras ago,,i also had a very prem baby 11 years ago who we also tragically lost at 8 days old,,be brave,talk,talk,talk​,it does help,,thinking of you both and your 3 young children,,much love and big hugs from me and my family.xx

I don't care who they are, losing a child is the hardest thing on earth and no amount of money can possibly make it easier. My heart goes out to them.
