Just good friends? Nicole Scherzinger and Chris Brown deny romance

Nicole Scherzinger and Chris Brown are both in relationships but they've been the subject of romance rumours after they were snapped getting cosy in a Los Angeles club.

Reports speculated that they had embarked on a secret romance after intimate pictures were published of the pair at the Supperclub venue in Hollywood whispering and, it appeared, kissing.

They were at the club to host a party with Will.i.am and singer Sean Kingston; one photo shows Nicole with her hand on Chris' chest while another image appeared to show Rihanna's ex cuddling the X Factor judge from behind.

But now Nicole's spokesman has spoken out to insist they were just speaking closely to try to hear each other over the music. "There is absolutely no truth to the ridiculous story regarding Nicole and Chris Brown," he said. "The photos are of old friends who were trying to talk at a very loud club. They were not kissing."

The ex-Pussycat Doll has been in an on-off relationship with Lewis Hamilton since 2010, while Chris has dated model Karrueche Tran for 18 months and before that he was with Rihanna until he violently assaulted her in 2009.
