Katy Perry met by ‘new boyfriend’ in Paris

After a short trip to London, where she performed on Let's Dance For Sport Relief, partied at Mahiki and took part in a Live Lounge session for Radio 1, Katy Perry whizzed over to Paris.

And her rumoured new love interest, hot French model Baptiste Giabiconi, was there to meet her at the Gare du Nord as she arrived.

Not only is he the highest-paid male model in the world, but he's highly attractive and seems to be dead keen on Katy - could he be the perfect antidote following her failed marriage to Russell Brand?

The good-looking pair met at Paris Fashion Week recently and they were believed to have gone on a date shortly after their first meeting. And now that they've reunited in the French capital (albeit as secretly as possible - they both tried to avoid the cameras as they made their way through the station) it seems things may be hotting up in their romance.

They were first spotted together in the front row of the Chanel fashion show and a friend of Baptiste's even commented on his admiration for the blue-haired singer, saying he was "smitten" with the star.

Well, they are in the world's most romantic city, so who knows what could happen with this potential pair of pretties? And we hope Katy is more fluent in French than we are. All we can say is 'ou es le piscine?'...
