Keira Knightley engaged to Klaxons star

Congratulations are in order, as Keira Knightley is believed to have just become engaged to her boyfriend James Righton, of the Klaxons.

The Pirates Of The Caribbean actress, 27, has been dating the musician since early 2011. They got together shortly after she split up with her previous long-term boyfriend Rupert Friend, who she had been together for five years.

The actress and the musician (we love that kind of artistic pairing!) have been together since February last year and were introduced to each other by mutual friend, and James' ex-girlfriend, Alexa Chung.

Keira and James are one of the most secretive celebrity couples out there - think of them as the antithesis to Kim Kardashian and Kanye West - which makes them one of the most alluring! We've only spotted them out together a few times, on a date nights here and there, so we're guessing their secretive upcoming nuptials will be a very private affair.

The news has been confirmed by Keira's spokeswoman, according to the Press Association.

"I can confirm that Keira is engaged to be married to James Righton," she is reported as saying.

However no other details regarding their wedding or the proposal have been revealed.

Now we're just super-excited about seeing Keira's dress! If there's one thing she's good at, it's rocking a full-length fancy frock, so her wedding dress will be something spectacular for sure...
