Miranda Lambert has received seven nominations for the Annual Academy of Country Music Awards - including her third consecutive nomination in the Entertainer of the Year category and her eighth for Female Vocalist. She tied for most noms with Tim McGraw - also garnering seven. Among his nominations, he's up for Album of the Year for his "Two Lanes Of Freedom."

Motley Crue are hanging up their microphones. After more than three decades together, the group announced that they will embark on a final tour and then ultimately retire. The quartet - Vince Neil, Mick Mars, Nikki Sixx, and Tommy Lee - will launch a more than 60-date North American concert series beginning on July 2. Following that, they'll do a world tour and then go their separate ways.

Prince is dropping his 22 million dollar lawsuit. The singer was pressing charges against 22 website owners and Facebook users who he says posted bootleg footage of his concerts. Lawyers told online tabloid TMZ that the suit was dropped after fans removed infringing links to his music.

Finally, happy birthday to Oprah Winfrey. The media mogul turned 60 on Wednesday (January 29). Unlike her blowout party for her 50th birthday - which included performances from the likes of Tina Turner and Stevie Wonder - sources say Winfrey was planning a low-key celebration for her big 6-0 at her Montecito, California home.
