Lucy Mecklenburgh: I have a 24-inch waist, but stumpy legs!
Lucy Mecklenburgh is one of the stars of hit TV show The Only Way Is Essex but is appears most of her fame comes from her sometimes difficult relationship with Mario Falcone, who she recently became engaged to on the show.
Lucy Mecklenburgh tells Closer she's happy with her body. We can see why!
In an exclusive interview with Closer magazine, the 20-year-old explained that she's feeling a bit nervous about her wedding to Mario but that is has nothing to do with the rumours he has been cheating on her.
"I do want to get married, but I'm a bit scared. I'd happily say let's get married in five years, but I don't think that's what Mario wants. I'm not ready for all the questions about the wedding and I don't want to plan it," she said.
She also admitted she hadn't yet made up with Sam Faiers, who she fell out with at her engagement party after she alluded to the fact that her husband-to-be had been sex-texting other women.
"Sam's my old friend, but I feel like she's tarnished my engagement [by spreading rumours] and hasn't said sorry."
Sam had not been invited to the engagement party, but the row ensued when she said Lucy had confided in her that Mario had been "messaging other girls", adding there was "proof" on Twitter.
Mario and Lucy have been through the mill a bit with their relationship, having broken up once before after he admitted to sending flirty messages to other women. But Lucy took him back and she's feeling confident this time around.
"I do want to get married, but I'm a bit scared."
"I'm genuinely really happy and I trust Mario," she insisted. "He's with me every night, so I'm sure I'd know if he was having an affair! Unfortunately, being in the position we are in, rumours start that get out of control. But as long as we're honest with each other, that's all that matters."
She added: "I've no idea when or where we'll get married, as I've been so busy I've hardly had time to think about it.
"As long as our family and friends are there, that's the main thing. Because we're both in the show, me and Mario have friends who are in the public eye, but that's the only reason we'll be inviting celebrities."
She also discussed her famous body, as she's one of the only TOWIE girls who seems to miss out on the negative attention from the press.
"Like any girl, there are days I'd like to change parts of my body - but, generally, I'm confident and happy with how I look," she explained, while showing off her incredible 5ft 6in 8 stone frame in a bikini.
"My favourite body part is my waist, as its 24 inches. My least favourite would be my legs - I used to get called 'stumpy legs' when I was younger because I've got a long body and short legs."
Well, it seems you can't please everyone!
