Piers has a lot to thank Simon Cowell for - without him, he probably wouldn't be the global TV star he is today. Simon first signed Piers up to replace him as a judge on America's Got Talent in 2006 and then Britain's Got Talent in 2007 and it all went pretty well from there. Now he's one of the biggest TV stars across the pond, hosting CNN's Piers Morgan Tonight, and he also fronts Piers Morgan's Life Stories in the UK.
“I would not have any of this without Simon and he knows I would do any favour for him, and vice versa," he once said in recognition of his boss and pal.
Sure, Piers and Simon have had their minor spats and words slung about each other, but that's just brotherly camaraderie.

Piers Morgan published photographs that were deliberately doctored to dishonour soldiers fighting for this country on the front page of a national newspaper. These were photographs that he knew to be fakes. Whatever way you look at it, this was Piers Morgan committing treason. Publishing pictures with no other reason than to discredit our men in Iraq was indeed a treacherous act. Just to contribute some legitimacy to what some may regard as harsh claims, the Treason Act of 1351 states one of the treasonable offences is: “If a man…be adherent to the King’s enemies in his realm, giving to them aid and comfort in the realm, or elsewhere.”

I've never really liked him.. I don't hate him, I think he's sleazy and not the most honest person on the planet... I'm a 1000% certain he was involved in phone hacking and all the other dirty underhanded illegal business practices newspapers did in the so called name of freedom of the press... But I do agree with what he's saying about gun control.. On this issue he's RIGHT...

I’m kind of yes and no with Piers Morgan. One minute I think he is an absolute ****! Then the next minute I find myself totally agreeing with him. I particularly agree with him on all these z listed, publicity seeking celebrities who complain about the press intruding into their lives, and then sell their story to the press for a huge sum of money.
