Aside from his TV and radio duties, Vernon is a lifelong American football fan and he's played defensive back for the London Warriors since 2011!
A dream came true for Vernon this week when he met one of his sporting heroes, 13-time NFL all-star Ray Lewis, who plays for the Baltimore Ravens.

vernon kay is a great lancashire lad full of humour and guts and thunder, with him being so strong in the TV world he can meet anyone. I personally would like to meet him and also my other hero matt Hayes, bet no one can arrange that
