X Factor 2012: James Arthur in Twitter row with Frankie Boyle
X Factor finalist James Arthur has been involved in a rather vitriolic Twitter fight with controversial comedian Frankie Boyle.
During the Saturday night show, former Mock The Week star Frankie posted: “James McArthur (sic) is like a cross between a tramp and a duckling #xfactor.”
James responded: “Poor old man making yet more shit jokes about Xfactor because he knows that's the only way he can get attention any more #prat.”
Their fight continued over the weekend with random comments over the social networking site. Frank has never been one to hold back in a celebrity fight ,and it appears that the 23-year-old singer isn’t likely to back down either.
Frankie replied to James: “I think if I wanted attention I'd sing covers on a talent show, inked up like a schooldesk in a remedial class.”
“Have you seen the state of you? How can you make remarks about the way I look? Stop using my name to try rekindle your career..." - James Arthur
The comedian seemed to have a lot of support some of his large Twitter following but James, who sang Power Of Love and One in the semi-final, kept on coming back with his own remarks.
One tweeted posted: “At least he [Frankie] has some talent…”
James retalliated: “What you mean as apposed to telling desperately bad jokes? Perhaps you'd have gained more respect going my route.”
Frankie then attacked James’ spelling error and bought X Factor boss Simon Cowell into the argument with a brief mention.
“Apposed"? I hope you didn't spell your own tattoos. I also hope Simon's demonic j**z boils through your vocal cords.”
“Your about as funny as aids,” James posted back. “Your a sad man and I can't wait to see you coz it's about time someone gave you a reality check.”
And it kept on going: “Comedians make jokes about tits singing karaoke songs on talent shows you snaggletoothed grammar holocaust. Deal with it,” Frankie said.
“Have you seen the state of you? How can you make remarks about the way I look? Stop using my name to try rekindle your career and making jokes about people on tv shows is one thing but you make jokes about people with disabilities which is a disgrace,” James retorted back.
He rounded off the Twitter fight with one final comment.
“One last thing.. I wanna meet you and see if I don't f*** you up on behalf of many that hate you. Your children must be proud!”
Ding ding – we think that round went to James Arthur!

MSN.....How did James Arthur take this round???
Clearly a biased author who loves FiX-Factor. Franky destoryed him. James Athur is clearly lacking in whitty comebacks and the fact he resorted to the, YEA IM GUNNA BEAT YOU UP kind of commecnts shows his lack of mental capcity.
"Frankie then attacked James’ spelling error and BOUGHT X Factor boss Simon Cowell into the argument... "
Why do people think bought is the past tense of bring?
When you see this mistake repeated on exam papers by kids who see it used every day by people who should know better, it eventually gets you down.
Brought - Bring
Bought - Buy
P.S. I knows I should of prolly kept my mouth shut, init. *dribbles on keyboard*
James Arthur is a nobody, he will be forgotten in a few months if that, and as for saying that Frankie is trying to rekindle his career by using James arthurs name??? i didnt know that Frankies career needed rekindling? i think its you James Arthur that is trying to ignite your career by using Frankie boyle you prat.
Comedians make jokes about people in the media all the time - it's nothing new. James' reaction just makes it that bit more hilarious. It's like shoving a stick in an ant nest - hours of amusement haha.
You need a firm education, quick thinking, wit, and dexterous use of the English language to be able to take on a comedian like Frankie Boyle and have half a chance of winning. James doesn't appear to have any of those qualities, so he's a fool for even trying to attack Frankie; like a caveman trying to outwit Sheldon Cooper. If you ask me, a person with such qualities wouldn't have got offended in the first place.
But by all means, carry on James. I'm enjoying watching Frankie metaphorically smash a brick repeatedly into your stupid, round face.

so lucy mapstone, the editor at msn," you CONDONE violence" then ??
i bet frankie is bricking it,( not), i cannot abide that these talentless wannabees from x factor and such really believe that they have an opinion that counts, in 6 months he will have disappeared from the scene and be back serving burgers, it is a cruel and idiotic system of abuse by Cowell and co that big up these talentless fools and encourage them to actually believe they have talent and longevity, in reality they will have a brief period of limited exposure then they will be dumped without second thought to make way for the next bunch of desperate neer do wells.
Boyle may not be to everyone's taste, but he has a definite talent, he is observant and intelligent, he really should not be getting involved in on line arguments with this poor young man who's only option of response is to threaten violence, but i suppose it does offer them both a bit of media coverage and no doubt Frankie will have a DVD and Book out for xmas that needs plugging.
